Pearl Millet / Bajra

The scientific name for Pearl millet is “Pennisetum glacum”. The Pearl Millet is one of the oldest millet used by our ancestors. It is used as food for humans and animals. It has the highest protein content. It is especially effective for high blood pressure, diabetes, insomnia, Impotency, epilepsy, bleeding piles and tuberculosis. It is easily digestible.

For animals, pearl millet grain can be used as food for ruminant, poultry, and pig stations without adversely affecting feed efficiency or weight gain.

Finger millet / Ragi

The binomial name of Finger Millet is “Eleusine coracana”. It is especially effective for controls diabetes, increases bone strength & hemoglobin level, reduces cholesterol, relieving stress related ailments like anxiety, hypertension, depression, head aches, insomania. It can be used to be the most natural anti aging drink. For animals, finger millet is used as food for dairy cows, sheep, poultry, and pigs.

Sorghum / Jowar

Sorghum is one of the most important cereal crops in the world. It is also used as industrial raw material. It may lower the risk of obesity, stroke, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, elevated blood cholesterol and digestive problems like diverticular disease, colon cancer, constipation and hemorrhoids.

For animals, it is used as food for Ruminants, pigs, poultry, rabbits and also it is often used in aquafeed formulation and may be included at up to 50% in fish diets.

Foxtail Millet / Navane

The Botanic name of Foxtail millet is “Setaria Italica” . It ranks second in total world population of millets. It controls blood sugar level, increases HDL Cholestrol, excellent for strengthening the nervous system. For animals, it is used as food for ruminants and poultry.

Little Millet / Samai

The Binomial name of the little millet is Panicum sumatrense. For humans, it reduces cholesterol, effects of migraines, and heart attacks. Protects against breast cancer, hyperglycemia, child hood asthma. It is also used as fodder and animal feed.
